If you prefer to view Traditional writing form only, download ie3lpktw.exe (4048k) (or search for this file using any search machine) from this link: http://spider.kinjo.ac.jp/archive/win/inetexp/ie3lpktw.exe Run it, the program will install the font into your Windows. After that, go to the menu bar in Netscape and choose "Edit" then --> Preferences --> Appearance --> Fonts, in "For the Encoding" field, choose "Traditional Chinese", then choose "MingLiu" as your font to view Chinese. If you want to view both Simplified and Traditional Chinese writing, download ie3lpkcn.exe (2828k) (or search for this file using any search machine) from this link: ftp://ftp.cfhc.caritas.edu.hk/browser/ie/ie3lpkcn.exe Run it, the program will install the font into your Windows. After that, go to the menu bar in Netscape and choose "Edit" then --> Preferences --> Appearance --> Fonts, in "For the Encoding" field, choose "Simplified Chinese", then choose "MS Song" as your font to view Chinese. Then you will see Chinese writing whenever you receive a Chinese coded letters or when you see a Chinese coded post on the newsgroups, or view Chinese web pages, even though you don't have a Chinese system install in your computer. (When you are using Netscape related software) No more squares. |
